The NewVista project is an initiative to create an urban model and economic system for the 21st century and beyond. Through scientific and technological research, we are working to develop sustainable solutions to refine and achieve this urban model. In connection with this research, we strive to educate the public on solutions, systems, and technologies that will lead to a more sustainable future.

The NewVista model is built upon four fundamental principles: (1) high quality of life, (2) robust local econosystem, (3) massive scalability, and (4) low environmental impact. This website presents the specific solutions being developed in the NewVista model to achieve these fundamental principles, discusses and presents the larger issues of sustainability which these solutions address, and serves as an educational resource to provide additional information on sustainability and related issues.
